AC Milan Pocket 3 Name of New Physical Coach Candidate
AC Milan will recruit a new physical trainer to replace Emanuele Marra who was laid off last week. Milan’s CEO Marco Fassone and Sports Director Massimiliano Mirabelli and coach Vincenzo Montella, have discussed this at AC Milan’s headquarters during yesterday’s meeting on Tuesday (3/10/2017).
Marra fired Montella following a 0-2 defeat of Sampdoria at Marassi Stadium on Sunday (24/09/2017) then. Montella is reportedly unhappy with the physical exercise methods cultivated with the techniques and tactics, as well as the vegan diet program applied by Marra.
According to Sky Sports, AC Milan has bagged at least three candidates who will fill the post. One of them is Massimo Neri, who currently works for Chinese club, Guangzhou Evergrande.
Reportedly, Neri will soon leave China and return to Italy in the near future. Based on his track record, Neri is a former manager of AS Roma football in 2001.
At that time he successfully led AC Milan won the Scudetto under the coach Fabio Capello. The other two candidates are Daniele Tognaccini and Bruno Dominici.
For Tognaccini, he currently serves as Head of AC Milan Medical Section. The 53-year-old man has been doing his job since 2003.
Never Train AC Milan
While Dominici, once been a physical coach of AC Milan in 2002 until 2015, before the arrival of Emanuele Marra. Among the three candidates, Dominici is the strongest candidate because it is very experienced with AC Milan.
The announcement of who will be the new physical coach of AC Milan is planned to be delivered on Thursday (5/10/2017).
